Andrew first worked with PHAMA as a consultant supporting activities in Solomon Islands’ sawn timber sector before becoming Country Manager for the program in Solomon Islands. More recently, he was Deputy Team Leader before assuming his current role in July 2020. As Team Leader, Andrew leads and manages the delivery of the Program across six Pacific Island Countries.
Andrew has experience in timber sector monitoring and certification, forest and environmental management, and strengthening rural industries and value chains. He has a Master of Science in Sustainable Tropical Forestry from Bangor University in Wales and the University of Technology in Dresden, Germany; as well as a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Honours) from the University of Queensland, Australia.
