Michael Parker
Michael joined the PHAMA Plus program in October 2020. As Deputy Team Leader, his job is to provide strategic, technical and operational support to the Team Leader and to help ensure overall successful program delivery. He has broad-based experience across the agri-food sector, program management, monitoring and coordination.
Michael previously worked as the long term Team Leader in Fiji (based in Lautoka) of the coordination and monitoring unit of the European Union funded ‘sugar’ programme from 2015-2018. More recently, he has been leading a long term food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary program that aims to help Albania to prepare for EU membership. He holds a degree in Agricultural Science from University College Dublin, Ireland and a Masters in Strategic Management (Hons) from the Technological University of Dublin.
