 Description:

While trade in Fijian taro with Australia and New Zealand has been occurring for many years, quality
and phytosanitary issues have continued to hinder this trade and result in reduced returns for taro supply chain participants. The ongoing issues experienced in this trade were summarised in the report for Pacific Horticultural and Agricultural Market Access Program (PHAMA) activity FIJI01 conducted in 2011.
