Handicrafts are an important trade product for the tourism industries in Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu. PHAMA has produced a series of vendor guides, videos and posters to inform vendors, operators and tourists about quarantine standards that apply to handicrafts. PHAMA has also provided further assistance by training staff and other industry stakeholders to better communicate quarantine risks.
