Blondie Akwasia joins PHAMA Plus as the GEDSI Officer based in Solomon Islands.

She formerly worked as a Program Officer at the Coalition Education in Solomon Islands, where she oversaw initiatives focusing on schools, communities, and stakeholders in the education system.

Akwasia has more than eight years of teaching experience, specializing in Economics and Geography.

She is also passionate about working with people and improving the lives of the marginalized, women, girls, adolescents, persons with disabilities, and individuals in disadvantageous situations.

She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Gender studies from the University of the South Pacific.
