Lavinia has a vast experience in the private sector revolving around the coconut industry, agriculture extension and agribusiness prior to joining PHAMA Plus.

She previously worked in academia assisting as agribusiness marketing lecturer with the PNG University of Natural Resources and Environment, running farmer trainings and conducting M&E of development projects with the Integrated Agriculture Training Program in Rabaul, Kavieng and Lihir in PNG.

Lavinia holds a Master of Agribusiness from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Tropical Agriculture from the PNG University of Natural Resources and Environment (formerly University of Vudal). She is passionate about improving rural livelihoods including those of marginalized groups and promoting business activities in the agriculture sector.
