Tamar joined the PHAMA Plus team in 2020 as the Project Manager – Biosecurity (PNG) to support the PHAMA Plus team in in Papua New Guinea to manage the implementation of biosecurity interventions. In August 2022, she took on the role as National Facilitator (PNG) leading the implementation of interventions in the coffee sector. 

Tamar has vast experience in project management and agriculture having worked for several development projects and organisations. She has a Bachelor of Science (BS), Agriculture (Extension & Development) from the Papua New Guinea University of Technology and completed her Post Graduate Diploma, Agribusiness/Agricultural Business Operations and Masters of Management (Agricultural Business and Management) from Massey University.
