Shipping Adviser – Shipping Schedule Incentive Scheme 2023 Trials to New Zealand
We are seeking to engage a short-term Shipping Adviser in Tonga to work closely with our key partner Ministry of Trade and Economic Development (MTED), to develop key agreements and protocols required to roll out the Shipping Schedule Incentive Scheme (SSIS) 2023 Trials to New Zealand, and then support MTED to implement the trials.
The consultant will work closely with MTED staff at management level to develop the agreements, and then support Ministry staff to implement the protocols and processes. The adviser will also engage with a range of stakeholders including Ports Authority in Tonga (PAT), the Shipping Lines and the exporters.
